Antistixis Architects presents Discover your Way, a newly designed coffee shop located in Patras, Greece. Inspired by the minimalistic elegance of Japanese style, Discovery offers a unique experience where visitors can enjoy quality goods while studying in a serene environment.

The architectural design of Discover your way embodies simplicity and sophistication. The use of light glossy colors and surfaces creates a tranquil ambiance, evoking the serene aesthetics of Japanese design. The incorporation of these elements aims to provide a soothing and peaceful atmosphere conducive to focused studying.

One of the standout features of the coffee shop is the emphasis placed on the physical beauty of a stone-made wall, previously concealed by drywall. By exposing and restoring the stone wall, we have added a touch of natural elegance to the interior space, infusing it with warmth and character.

To enhance the study experience, special attention has been given to the window on the roof, allowing ample natural light to flood the room. This natural light not only creates a pleasant and vibrant atmosphere but also serves as a valuable asset for students who benefit from well-lit spaces while studying.

The incorporation of a white fabric canopy provides shade and protection from direct sunlight, ensuring a comfortable environment for studying even on sunny days. Additionally, the spacious tables allow students to communicate and collaborate with ease, fostering a sense of community and shared learning.

Ventilation is a crucial aspect of any coffee shop, and at Discovery, we have integrated a ventilation pipe that extends through the roof. To create a visually striking contrast with the pristine white surroundings, the ventilation pipe has been painted in a bold red peach color, adding a touch of modernity and vibrancy to the space.

Moreover, the columns in Discover your Way have been carefully adorned with a turquoise hue, adding emphasis and visual interest to the architectural elements. This choice of color further complements the overall design concept, enhancing the Japanese-inspired atmosphere.

The original wooden floor of the coffee shop has been restored, ensuring a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The warmth and natural texture of the wood provide a pleasant contrast to the light-colored surfaces, creating a harmonious blend of materials and aesthetics.

In order to introduce transparency and an industrial element, custom-made grid metal shelves have been incorporated into the design. Painted in the same bold red peach color as the ventilation pipe, these shelves serve as functional display areas while adding a modern and edgy touch to the overall ambiance.

On the upper floor, two individual rooms have been designed to function as a co-working space. These rooms feature a solid wood conference table, equipped with a projection screen and state-of-the-art technology facilities. This setup provides visitors with a comfortable and well-equipped space for collaborative work, meetings, and presentations.

In summary, Discover your Way, the new coffee shop designed by Antistixis Architects in Patras, Greece, showcases a fusion of minimalistic aesthetics, Japanese-inspired elements, and functionality.
