This renovation of the accounting office in Patras offers an impressive architectural experience, combining functionality and aesthetics. The space, designed to accommodate eight employees, spans three levels and leverages the industrial elements of the building to create a unique atmosphere. The office layout is innovative, with a continuous work surface extending along the space. This design allows employees to collaborate easily, while personalized drawer units offer storage space for personal items and work materials. The choice of green as the main color tone provides a sense of calm and encourages concentration, enhancing productivity. On the second floor, there are two private offices designed to maintain a more distinct character while harmonizing with the overall interior design. In the first office, we retained the glass executive desk, changing its color to better match the overall aesthetic. We repeated the use of sound-absorbing wooden panels and polished cement coating, while varying the lighting and reception furniture, which were selected in earthy beige and white shades. In the second executive office, which is larger in square meters but narrower, we kept the walls predominantly white, with polished cement coating as the focal point on the wall behind the desk. The lighting was designed with a square unified geometry, allowing for adjustable intensity while covering the entire space. The anthracite floor tiles and stainless-steel handrail of the staircase add an industrial touch, while the vertical wooden walls in natural tones function as sound-absorbing elements that reduce external noise. The office is located in a busy area of the city, making sound insulation crucial for the accountants’ work. The lighting design has been carefully planned, selecting fixtures that provide adequate lighting for the long working hours. Modern lamps and adjustable light sources create a pleasant atmosphere while highlighting the architectural features of the space. A separate entrance office has been designed for an employee responsible for welcoming clients, creating a welcoming first impression. This space is equipped with furniture that combines functionality and aesthetics, ensuring comfort and a pleasant atmosphere. The industrial character of the building is also highlighted by the application of polished cement coating in two shades of gray on the walls, offering a modern and elegant feel. Additionally, we designed white glossy wooden hanging cabinets on the wall, which provide brightness and visual comfort, while also enhancing the sense of spaciousness and adding a modern touch to the space. Overall, the renovation of the office in Patras combines functionality, aesthetics, and highlights the building’s industrial character, providing an excellent working environment for the accountants.
